I am a Mom of 3 beautiful children, was working full time and was extremely unhappy with myself and the way I felt life was going at the time. Today, I get to be home with my kids and enjoy the full joys of parenting. Every week I get to celebrate weight loss with others all around the country. Life has changed so dramatically for the better and I want to share it with everyone!”

Ben, just spent a few days in Mexico fishing, successfully! The picture on the left is Ben just over 3 years ago,the picture on the right is Ben in Mexico a couple weeks ago doing what is his passion!! Ben’s story is not unique, he made a decision to change his Health. BenBen started his journey at 370 lbs and lost 175 lbs and has kept it off for over two years. I could go on writing about all the benefits that creating health in his life has brought Ben, but it’s too much to list here. 11 Tips to burn off those Thanksgiving Calories

If you find yourself overindulging this Thanksgiving, the best thing you can do is get right back on track with your healthy lifestyle the next morning. There’s no better feeling than starting the day with some physical activity to burn off all those extra calories that were consumed the night before.
But before you make your way to the local gym, why not take this opportunity to multitask? With the holidays fast approaching, it’s the perfect time to do some gift shopping.
Before you head out the door, keep in mind it’s Black Friday, and you’re going to have to be ruthless in grabbing your coveted items before someone else. Follow the tips below to maximize your movement and your ability to seize the deals!11 tips
1. Wear gym clothes and sneakers while shopping to move faster and burn more calories
2. Set a goal for how many steps you want to take and use a pedometer to track them.
3. Don’t waste time looking for closer parking – head to the farthest end of the garage to increase the number of steps you take and calories you burn.
4. Try wearing a weighted vest or ankle weights to keep your muscles actively engaged.
5. Grab the heaviest items first so you burn extra calories while carrying them around.
6. Carry water and Medifast Flavor Infusers to stay hydrated and energized.
7. Take extra laps around the store – you’ll burn more calories and increase your chances of finding a great deal!
8. Sprint up the escalator, or better yet, take the stairs!

This is Erin’s story:
“I lost 90 pounds! Before I started this program, I was a stressed out first year teacher. On my way home from work every day, I would go thru a drive thru, eat, and then take a nap. This caused me to gain 30 pounds on top of what was an already unhealthy body. Now that I’ve learned how to manage my stress and make healthier Erindecisions, I have enough energy to make it through my day and train for my first half marathon! There will be many more to come!”

Take shape Tuesday Congratulations to Erin

January 2013 I realized it was time to take control of my life and make some serious changes!

I was no longer able to do things I wanted to do! Walking was exhausting! I spent most of my time in bed or sitting on the couch watching tv and eating my life away!Erin

I joined the gym and started changing the way I was eating! In November I started working with a health coach and was finally able to do things that I wanted to do! I climbed diamond head! This last summer I was able to play on the jet skis, ride the tube behind the boat, and when I fell off I could pull my self back up! The most amazing feeling! I can accomplish anything! I have currently lost 135lbs and am still continuing my journey to reach my final weight goal!

In about a month I will run a 5k for the first time ever!

I have had the most amazing support from my health coach and I would not be where I am today if I had not taken the jump and trusted my coach through it all! It hasn’t always been easy but it’s been a journey I am proud of!
